The photograph of Felton really shows vulnerability and the tension that comes from darkness or having to do dark deeds. The way he hugs himself also evokes sympathy from the viewer.
Originality:
The frayed border makes it seem as if he is originating from the shadow, which says a lot for him and his character - in terms of him being Draco.
Technique:
Lighting: The background is dark, and even though there seems to be the moon in the background, moonlight doesn't work quite the same in terms of shadows that sunlight does. For there to be that much light on Tom, you'd need to have a risen (not a setting) moon to the right of the center of the piece.
Impact:
The post as well as the background work well together to form an emotion-evoking work.
